Zical Privacy Policy

Zical is a family calendar website, app, and digital calendar service operated by Shenzhen Shiyu Technology Co., Ltd. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices available to you. It applies to this website and the Zical services linked from it.

Information we collect

• Account information: When you register or contact us, we receive information such as your email address and the information in your message. We use it to provide your account, respond to you, and send service messages.
• Calendar and family content: We process calendars, schedules, events, and other content that you or your family members add to Zical so we can display and manage them in the service.
• Google Calendar data: If you choose Sync from Google Calendar, Google asks you to authorize access. Depending on the permissions shown on Google's consent screen, Zical may receive your Google account email address and basic profile information, a list of calendars you can access, and event information from calendars you select. Event information may include titles, descriptions, dates, times, locations, and attendees. We use this information to connect the right account, import and display events in your Zical calendar, and keep the displayed schedule in sync. Connecting Google Calendar is optional.
• Technical information: When you use our website or app, we may receive device and browser information, IP address, access times, and service logs to operate, secure, and troubleshoot the service. Browser storage and similar technologies may be used to keep you signed in and remember settings.

How Google data is accessed, used, and stored

After you authorize the connection, Zical's service exchanges authorization information with Google and retrieves the calendar list and events needed for the sync feature. Zical stores the connection information needed to maintain the link and the imported event data needed to show your schedule in your account. The website temporarily stores a connection identifier in browser storage while completing the authorization and sync flow. We use Google data only to provide and improve the calendar features you use. We do not use Google Calendar data for advertising, sell it, or use it to train generalized AI models.

Sharing and limited use

Calendar information may be visible to people with whom you choose to share a Zical family calendar. Service providers that host, maintain, or secure Zical may process information on our behalf only as needed to provide those services. We may disclose information when required by law. We do not share Google user data with third parties for their own advertising or marketing. Human access to Google user data is limited to situations such as resolving a support or security issue with your permission, complying with law, or handling data that has been aggregated and anonymized for internal operations. Zical's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Retention, disconnection, and deletion

We keep account information, connected calendar information, and imported events while needed to provide your account and calendar features. If you stop using Google Calendar sync, you can revoke Zical's access in your Google Account permissions. Revoking access stops future retrieval; it does not automatically remove information already imported into Zical. To request removal of your connected Google data or deletion of your Zical account and associated data, contact support@si-view.com. We will process the request subject to applicable legal and operational retention requirements. You can also contact us to access or correct your personal information.

Security and your choices

We use technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect personal information and limit access to people who need it to operate the service. No internet service can guarantee absolute security. You can choose not to connect Google Calendar and can change your browser settings for cookies and similar technologies, though some features may then stop working.

Children and policy changes

Zical is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided such information, contact us. We may update this policy as our service changes. We will post the updated policy here with a new date and provide additional notice when required.
